And he made it much smaller. Here is a top picture of the finished board. +5V power to the middle pin of the 3 pin connectors is controlled by the solder jumpers marked PWR. Bridge the two pads with solder if you want to forward power to the connector. The board is built like a v1, inspire yourself from the instructions <a href=\"https:\/\/marcduino.com\/firmware-upload\/\">there<\/a>. EXCEPT that you should choose the v2 firmware.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Connecting the boards<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>See pictures and instructions below. It&#8217;s a cross between v1 and v2.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>5V power comes into the ST1 connector on the right. A good 5V 6A to 9A switched power supply such as this one should work:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.pololu.com\/product\/2866\">https:\/\/www.pololu.com\/product\/2866<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The 9A should be able to power both master and slave, or for added added you can take two 6A supplies and connect each one to a board (this would duplicate the v2 setting).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"663\" src=\"https:\/\/marcduino.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/06\/Compact-MarcDuino-POWER-hookup-1024x663.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-147\" srcset=\"https:\/\/marcduino.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/06\/Compact-MarcDuino-POWER-hookup-1024x663.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/marcduino.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/06\/Compact-MarcDuino-POWER-hookup-300x194.jpg 300w, https:\/\/marcduino.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/06\/Compact-MarcDuino-POWER-hookup-768x497.jpg 768w, https:\/\/marcduino.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/06\/Compact-MarcDuino-POWER-hookup-1536x994.jpg 1536w, https:\/\/marcduino.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/06\/Compact-MarcDuino-POWER-hookup.jpg 1582w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The servo markings and ordering is the same as v2, you can inspire yourself from the v2 video here:<a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=43RIDinTdUg\"> https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=43RIDinTdUg<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;The Master panel servo numbering follows that of the R2 Touch app, corresponding to the numbers 1-10 marked below the headers on the board:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"480\" height=\"320\" src=\"https:\/\/marcduino.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/06\/iOS-Simulator-03.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-109\" srcset=\"https:\/\/marcduino.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/06\/iOS-Simulator-03.png 480w, https:\/\/marcduino.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/06\/iOS-Simulator-03-300x200.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 480px) 100vw, 480px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The slave have the holo servos, refer to the marking above the 10 &nbsp;servo headers, self- explanatory:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Front, Rear, Top refer to the holo position, V is the one moving in the vertical direction, H in the horizontal direction<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Slave connection. If the &#8220;To Slave&#8221; Pwr solder blob is not filled, you have to power the slave through its main (ST1) connector. See instructions here.
